SWING FOR THE CURE Golf Tournament Raises $38,000 for Breast Cancer Research

On May 1st, Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation held its annual “Swing for the Cure” at Sweetwater Country Club, where 25 teams took to the green to raise $38,000 for breast cancer research and awareness. The gorgeous day began with a shotgun start to the 18 holes and a putting contest sponsored by EliteCare Emergency Center - Rice Village. There were exciting contests along the way, like the longest drive, closest to the pin and the chance to win a Ford F-150 courtesy of Mac Haik Ford with a hole in one.

Fidelity National Title Company took home first place in the tournament, and an awards ceremony dinner with door prizes and raffle items, including a Scotty Cameron Putter, a Sun Mountain Super Golf Bag and an autographed baseball glove and baseball donated by the Roger Clements Foundation.
