And speaking of landmark eateries, it wouldn’t be Houston Restaurant Weeks without a trip to Tony’s. The HRW menu is available only for dinner, but the three-course meal is amazing. First course offerings include rabbit raviolini and butternut squash pasta. If you really want to splurge you can add truffles for an additional cost. A brand-new eatery, The Warwick Houston, helmed by chef Antoine Ware, blends New American with down South cooking. The HRW’s lunch special for $25 lets you choose from several options for two courses. We recommend trying the Korean cauliflower for your first course, and Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich with house chips for your entrée. Or maybe the shrimp po’ boy stuffed with jumbo fried shrimp. It’s a toss-up, both are extremely tasty here.
