Hermann Park Conservancy Hosts Park To Port Bike Ride and Run in the Park This Fall

Hermann Park Conservancy (HPC) invites the Houston community to get outside this fall with two annual events: the Park to Port Bike Ride, presented by Port Houston, on October 25, 2025, and Run in the Park, powered by Reliant, on November 8, 2025. Both events support the Conservancy’s ongoing maintenance, conservation, and enhancement of Hermann Park, one of the city’s treasured green spaces. Now in its 11th year, the Park to Port Bike Ride, presented by Port Houston, will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 8 to 11 a.m. The 20-mile round-trip ride begins and ends at Hermann Park, following the Brays Bayou Greenway Trail to Mason Park by the Port of Houston and back. After the ride, participants can enjoy a post-event celebration at the Bill Coats Bridge in the Park with refreshments, music, and activities from community partners. Helmets are required for all riders, and advance registration is recommended as space is limited. Run in the Park, powered by Reliant, returns on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 8 to 11 a.m., welcoming runners, joggers, and walkers to explore Hermann Park’s trails. The event includes 5K and 10K runs and a 1K kids’ fun run, offering options for all fitness levels. Participants will enjoy post-race festivities with refreshments, music, and an awards ceremony celebrating top finishers and community spirit. “As Houston continues to grow and evolve, Hermann Park remains a place where everyone can come together—whether for recreation, reflection, or celebration,” said Cara Lambright, president & CEO of Hermann Park Conservancy. “Events like Park to Port and Run in the Park embody the community spirit that keeps this urban oasis thriving.” Proceeds from both events directly support HPC’s mission to enhance and maintain Hermann Park’s 445 acres through conservation efforts, volunteer engagement, and community programming. Funds raised help sustain improvements and ensure that the Park remains a welcoming space for the six million visitors it sees annually.
