The Salvation Army of Greater Houston Raises Over $1 Million at 2025 Gift of Compassion Gala
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston hosted its highly anticipated 2025 Gift of Compassion Gala on Monday, November 10, at the Hilton Americas, raising $1 million to support programs that serve individuals and families in need across the Greater Houston area.
The elegant evening, chaired by Deborah Duncan, celebrated the spirit of compassion and community with leaders, supporters, and friends from across Houston. The event honored Jeff Bagwell as the Community Honoree and CenterPoint Energy Foundation, represented by June Deadrick, as the Corporate Honoree.
“We are so pleased that Jeff Bagwell has agreed to be our Community Honoree,” said Robert Bland, Chairman of the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army of Greater Houston. “Not only has Jeff achieved great success in business, but more importantly, he has been a staunch supporter of countless charities across Houston, especially The Salvation Army.”
The evening’s program highlighted inspiring stories of transformation and resilience, reflecting The Salvation Army’s ongoing mission to provide shelter, food, rehabilitation, disaster relief, and essential social services to those in greatest need.
