20th Annual White Linen Night
One of Houston’s signature events in the fabulous Heights neighborhood is our tip of the hat to New Orleans Street partying. Yes, it’s hot. The restaurant and shops have ac. It’s 20 bucks kids 12 and under are free. If you’ve not been its a great way to experience the Heights.
It began as an art-focused neighborhood stroll to much larger and possibly crowded street party.
Arrive early, and of course wear comfortable white clothing, and stay hydrated, and focus on the shops, live music, and local food before the late-night crowds take over.
It’s from 6- 10pm at West 19th street and has as many as 50 artisan vendors, there is live music, food and drink stations. There are exhibits and many shops have special promotions inside their independent businesses. You can bring your dog and
coolers are permitted as well but no glass containers are allowed.

- Explore the side streets and local shops—not just the main stage areas.
- If you’re mainly interested in the social scene, plan to continue the evening at one of the Heights’ bars or after-parties once the street festival ends
